Rowan walking & throwing some blocks

Rowan's 1st injury

So now that Rowan is super busy walking everywhere she had a bad fall today at daycare... she busted her face on the cement usually she will put her hands out in front of her but today she did not and messed up her poor little face. She has a huge scrap on the side of her face by her eye and it is swollen. She also managed to hit her head and has a bruise and bump there too!! She seems to be ok even though it looks terrible. She has been acting normal even super hyper all night! Her teachers at daycare were very upset but Rowan must be a tough kid because she was dancing like 5 minutes after it happened even though she was bleeding....

One more thought for the night... I know I posted a bunch of pictures. Rowan is now walking and getting better and better at it as each day passes. We will try and get video of it to post. She has also decided in the past week or so that she no longer wants to be rocked to sleep she just wants to be kissed goodnight and put in her crib. She is getting more & more independent each day... which I don't mind but I do miss our cuddle time before bed when we rocked together each night. My heart melts when she shows affection with all of her hugs and love that is reflected in her smile so I guess I will save the rocking for the next one... but I enjoyed it while it lasted! I love you more than I can ever expressed with words my sweet baby!

Rowan and Waverly hanging out and actually not ignoring each other! By the end of our trip they were starting to like playing together. We miss you Knight family!!!!! Thank you for putting up with us while we visited!

This is from Waverly's 1st birthday party... it is funny how babies just ignore one another at this age :)

About Me

My photo
So I finally jumped on the blog band wagon so that family & friends especially the ones far away could just check the blog for updates on our growing munchkin! Being a mother is the most amazing and rewarding thing I have ever done and I am looking forward to the years to come watching her grow and experience life. I hope everyone enjoys and thank you Rowan for bringing so much joy & light into my life!
