On Sunday we found a pumpkin patch not too far away so that Rowan could go and pick out her own pumpkin... we came back with one big one, small one and a bunch of tiny pumpkins & gourds.. Rowan picked those out herself since she could carry them but she calls them balls instead of pumpkins. Just like any animal is a dog outside of our two cats which she knows are cats. The big highlight of the day for little Miss Rowan was the parking cone we found at the pumpkin patch she for some reason loves cones. There is one in her daycare parking lot and everyday when Ryan drops her off and I pick her up she makes a point to show us the cone... She is such a silly baby! I love her little quirks though. Rowan you are the best :)
Rowan decided to put her towel on her head as you can see and run up & down the hallway before bath time... at one point i must of been this excited too over bathy baths!
So last night Rowan started making the above face by scrunching up her face with a big smile... she can't even see when she does it and runs into stuff.... so now we tell her make your silly face and she does. What a crazy head!
Finally the sun came out after all of our recent rain and it was such a beautiful day... mid 70's slight wind, almost no humidity... so we headed to Marietta square to play, chase each other, walk around and have lunch... it was the best family time :)
I love the time that I get to spend with Rowan after work... it is like nothing else matters that has happened during the day when I see that little smile... and feel her arms around me... while we run after each other, scream and giggle and of course Layne (our cat) as well usually gets tackled in the process.. Good times had by all!!
It must be a genetic thing that runs in my family... the love of shoes. My grandmother use to say that I could play in her closet with her shoes for hours and that I should of been born with shoes on!!
Rowan and Isabella had fun playing together this past weekend... they played in the fountain and Isabella shared her snacks & toys with Rowan :) Thank you Nitto family we had a great time!
So I finally jumped on the blog band wagon so that family & friends especially the ones far away could just check the blog for updates on our growing munchkin! Being a mother is the most amazing and rewarding thing I have ever done and I am looking forward to the years to come watching her grow and experience life. I hope everyone enjoys and thank you Rowan for bringing so much joy & light into my life!
We went to Florida over the weekend to celebrate Kevin & Kara's wedding which was such a beautiful day! Thank you Kevin & Kara for sharing it with us! Rowan had her first beach experience and loved the sand. Unfortunately the water was too cold for her to go into the water so that will have to wait until next year...
