Cake Time!! Happy 1st Birthday!
We stripped her down and let her go at it... she enjoyed it even though you can't tell from this picture she just started making silly faces while playing with the cake!
Present Time!
So I was reading Rowan her birthday cards and most of them had glitter on them and what you don't see is Rowan thought is was great fun to lick the glitter off the cards... Silly baby!
She is still much more interested in bows than the actual unwrapping of any presents but she will enjoy playing with them all. Thank you everyone for the great gifts!

Happy Birthday my Love!!!
Reflecting on the past year
Looking back at these pictures takes me back to the day Rowan was born. I went into labor this evening 4/26... It has felt like such a long year in some ways but so short in others. Mostly time started flying once you and I were able to sleep through the night at about 8 1/2 months and I could really enjoy our time together not like a sleep deprived zombie. But it has all been worth it to see the love & trust in your eyes, smile and hugs. I love you more than words would ever be able to express and feel so much joy everyday we share together. You are the most amazing little light in my life and I look forward to sharing this journey with you as your momma. I love you Rowan and Happy Birth-day!

Easter Fun... we went to Charleston, SC to visit family and enjoyed a long weekend with everyone! Rowan loved to throw the Easter eggs and scream! The eggs also provided a good distraction on the 5 hour car ride back home... i would hide one of her crackers inside and she loved to open the egg and eat it... we did that for almost an hour... hopefully it will work on our long flight to Cali next month!

About Me
- Rowan's Family Blog
- So I finally jumped on the blog band wagon so that family & friends especially the ones far away could just check the blog for updates on our growing munchkin! Being a mother is the most amazing and rewarding thing I have ever done and I am looking forward to the years to come watching her grow and experience life. I hope everyone enjoys and thank you Rowan for bringing so much joy & light into my life!
